What You Will Do:
As a mentor, you will:
- Foster Connections: Share your knowledge and experiences to help students set and achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Build Relationships: Build meaningful relationships with students, offering them a safe space to express their thoughts and aspirations.
- Encourage Growth: Motivate students to explore their interests and develop new skills, enhancing their confidence and self-esteem.
- Show Up: Our initiative aims to prevent chronic absenteeism. By meeting with students twice per week for at least 20 minutes per session, you can encourage Flint kids to attend school every day.
